The play-off stage of the golfing year kicks into action this week but it is very difficult to highlight a bet before tee-off time as this is a new course to the PGA circuit.
One thing for sure is that at less than 7000 yards it isn’t that long so the premium will be on tight accurate golf and course management. Last weeks selections Furyk and Toms both fit the profile for doing well this week and there is a feeing the Furyk has to come good after such a poor season. He played well last week, as did Toms so he has to enter calculations.
The Plainfield Country Club course should also suit Zach Johnson, who isn’t all that long but is deadly accurate and has been in fair form of late. He can be backed at around the 45/1 mark and he is the initial recommendation for the puntinplay.
