The South Americans were shaping up for total dominance of South Africa 2010 but their European counterparts have come firing back this weekend with Holland and Germany dropping Brazil and Argentina.
The outright market has been blown wide open since the departure of the Samba Boys as odds compilers scratch their heads in confusion.
The safest option was to shorten up European champions Spain but the reds have hardly set the heather alight thus far and it really is anyone’s competition.
The current outright market looks like this (courtesy of Coral).
2/1 Spain
11/5 Holland
11/5 Germany
10/1 Uruguay
40/1 Paraguay

South America 7/1
