Jo-Wilfried Tsonga takes on Fedex in the quarter final of the US Open tonight and if successful it will be his third straight victory over the great man.
The French star came back from the dead at Wimbledon where he trailed by two sets to the former World number one. More recently on the US swing he beat Federer in three sets but finished the match in style with a 6-1 score line in the decider. A victory for Tsonga will also even the overall head to head at four apiece.
Federer has once again looked imperious at the event but he has beaten a bunch of concrete statues to get to this stage and Tsonga will give him his first real test. Federer might come through but at 9/4 (bet365 and Skybet) at puntinplay we give Tsonga a major chance.
