Friday's Live fixture sees Wigan Warriors entertain Hull KR at the DW Stadium (Sky Sports 1 20:00). New Wigan coach Michael Maguire has named an unchanged 19-man squad from last week's crushing 38-6 win over Crusaders so you would expect to see more off the same eye pleasing action that was experienced last week.
It's been a number of years since silverware graced the Warrior's home and it is the opinion of many that this could be their season to change that. Wigan are a club steeped in glory, during the 1990s they couldn't be touched. This included winning the Challenge Cup eight seasons in succession, and it is hoped that Michael Maguire will be the man who brings back the days of old to this Lancashire club this season.
This game could be testing for the Cherry and Whites against a strong Kingston Rovers squad, but we think the -8 on Wigan (Totesport, Ladbrokes) is worth a small punt.
On Saturday, the Tigers host the Wolves (Sky Sports 1 17:45) with Castleford coach Terry Matteson also announcing the same 19 man squad that upset the form book last week as they pulled off an incredible feat and beat current Champions Leeds. Last June was the last time these two teams faced
each other, with Warrington running away 34-18 victors. If the win over Harlequins was anything to go by (they obliterated them 58 - 0 last week), then the -6 available on Wolves (various) looks a steal as it's hard to see Castleford pulling off the same stunt again. In that game winger Chris Riley touched down for 5 tries and is 12/1 to be 1st tryscorer (Ladbrokes) and Even money to score anytime (Skybet).
