Manchester United are absolutely flying at the moment and fair play to Fergie he took the defeat at Wembley on the chin and set out to employ a Barca version of the short passing game at United.
So far the results look devastating. They can’t stop scoring and look to have strength in depth across the park. They have an unblemished record in the Premier League and take a fantastic road record into tonight’s game against Benfica.
United have only once tasted defeat on a Champions league menu since 2007 and they have won eleven from thirteen on the road. Those kind of stats make the 10/11 look quite attractive from where I am sitting.
Benfica are no mugs and made it to the semi-final of the Europa Cup last season. They have a more than adequate home record but in reality United should be to strong, even if they do start with a few squad players.
United are the bet tonight and given their current form they are the only dangers to Barca on the outright market. For those who don’t like to play odds on away try draw/United on the double result markets.
