Steve McClaren is in within touching distance of landing his first Erdivisie with Dutch side FC Twente. As we said a few months ago, on the each-way front they looked a bet to nothing. The draw yesterday away to PSV was a potential stumbling block but after a goaless first half a 73 minute goal gained a valuable point for Twente.
