Triumphant Westwood cut for Open glory

Lee Westwood has been cut from 33/1 to 16/1 by Stan James for the 2010 Open Championship after his brilliant win in the Dubai World Championship this afternoon. He was also cut from 40/1 to 25/1 for the Masters Title and is 9/2 to win any of the 4 Majors next year.
Head of PR Charlie McCann: "Westwood, arguably, should already have at least one Major Title under his belt and his wonderful last-round 64 at the Earth Course shows that he is at the top of his game at the moment. We believe he will be ideally suited to St Andrews and, although Tiger Woods is likely to have a big say in the destination of the Claret Jug, it would be fitting if there were to be a British winner of the 150th Open."
