Pat Phelan looks to have found a nice opportunity for Swaninstockwell to finally open his account in the 4.30 at Windsor and he makes plenty of appeal at 7/1
Although still a maiden after 10 starts, his run at Sandown four outings ago when runner-up to Grumeti at Sandown is a really solid piece of form in the context of this race.
He made Michael Bell's progressive sort pull out all the stops, going down by just a head after getting slightly outpaced over a furlong out before rallying strongly at the finish.
A repeat of that effort would see him in the winners' enclosure this afternoon, and although he has not run up to that level in his last three starts he has been given a nice break to freshen him up and is back down to a mark of 60 - just 2lb higher than his second at Sandown.
Today's trip of 10f looks absolutely ideal, and he is well drawn to attack for a front runner.
He will certainly take some pegging back if allowed to dominate, and at 7/1 he looks an each-way steal.
Recommended bet: 2pts each-way Swaninstockwell (7/1 generally available - BOG firms)
