Some difficult games tonight, but I rate the San Diego Chargers a banker bet against the Denver Broncos and have come up with a double which should hopefully dish up some tasty profit.
Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans
Houston Texans (3-1) are currently tied for the AFC south look to maintain their momentum this week when they entertain the Oakland Raiders(2-2). The Texans, who beat last years AFC champions Pittsburgh Steelers 17-10, appear to be facing a very generous Oakland 29th-ranked defence who give up 409 yards and 28 points per game. however it's not all plain sailing as key man wide receiver Andre Johnson is definitely out with a hamstring problem but with Arian Foster last year’s top running back one week fitter he will present Oakland with his own problems. The freescoring Texans should take this and cover the spread in the process.
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos
When deciding upon my weekly NFL bets a preferred method of choice is avoid the San Diego chargers at all costs. They have the offensive team but so far this season they haven’t really set the world alight on the offensive front and are currently ranked 15th for scoring having previously finished in the top 5 for scoring for the last 5 years. Yet they are they are off to the best start in 6 years and are a great side to watch when QB Philip Rivers is in full flow moving the ball down the field despite the fact that converting their red zone visits has been the problem (ranked 16th in red zone efficiency).
On the other side QB Kyle Orton had another stinker in their loss to Green Bay being turned over 3 times during their 49-43 defeat. Denver have the worst defence in the NFL and I think today’s the day the Chargers bring a big offensive score to the table.
