Solwhit went well in a canter this morning but remains 50-50 to make the Champion Hurdle line-up.
Trainer Charles Byrnes told Attheraces: "He has slightly improved but the worry is that we are running out of days at this stage.
"He coughed once or twice but seems well in himself, and jockey said he feels as good as ever.
"We will scope him again on Saturday and then make final decision. Whether he makes the Champion remains 50-50. If he scopes clear we will at least take him their and make a decision on Tuesday morning."
