Followers of Puntinplay’s boxing section enjoyed that Friday feeling once again last night as we found our sixth winner in a row when Stuart Hall stopped old foe Martin Power in the tenth round of their British title fight.
With many expecting this one to be over early on, we went against the grain in search of profit, tipping up over 8.5 rounds, and it paid off with these two warriors going toe-to-toe late into the night.
Fresh from picking up the Lonsdale belt with a surprise win over Hackney’s Ian Napa, Hall went on the attack from the first bell, using his range to put Power to the sword round after round. Londoner Martin Power is nothing if not brave but the former champion was out of his depth here and was halted by referee Mark Green late in the tenth for his own good.
We have now built up a head of steam here at Puntinplay as we continue to find those big fight winners week after week, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our unique view on all the big time boxing action as we do the groundwork to line your pockets.
