Selby gets off the mark and bags a break of 27. A poor pot saw the break end with safety. Ronnie then showed signs of tension and a safety shot that went wrong for the Rocket opened up frame and match for the "Jester". He looked to be in but the break came to an end at 37 with an easy red miss. However an audacious double at his next visit nailed the trophy for Selby.
A fantastic final. A winning tip from puntinplay and the call that it would be close was spot on.
Frame 18
An opportunity for both players to start but no conclusive break through. Tense safety dominated but eventually a break of 45, when Selby missed an easy red, looked to send the match into a deciding frame. From the miss the Rocket grabbed a break of 29 and then snookered the "Jester" in the baulk jaws. A double on the red seemed to have won the match for O'Sullivan but he missed a pot on a straight forward yellow which opened up the frame. O'Sullivan, after potting the yellow, then missed an audacious green and Selby cleared for 9-9.

A fantastic saftey shot from the Rocket man looked to have put Selby in trouble but the man from Leicester fluked the saftey. A forced red into the bottom corner lead to . a fantastic break of 109 when pink and black were initially tied up. This reduced the deficit to one frame. All to play for at 9-8.
Ronnie is now 1.3 and Selby who traded at 13 a few frames ago is 3.4
