Michael Schumacher's shock return to Formula 1 has got everybody talking about how much impact the motorsport legend can have at the age of 40 after such a lengthy absence.
The German fills in for Felipe Massa in the European Grand Prix in Valencia on August 23 as Ferrari must make do without the injured Brazilian.
Former commentator Murray Walker is not overly confident in the seven-time world champion, saying: "It's a gigantic mountain for even him to climb. I have no doubt that he will be physically fit and I don't doubt that he's mentally on top of it.
"It's just that he's bound to be rusty and he's got very little time to catch up."
John Watson is more positive about Schumacher's prospects of giving a good account of himself.
"Believe me, he will not go to Valencia unless he thinks he has not only a chance to pick up points for the team but also that he can win the race," asserted the ex-McLaren driver.
"There's every chance he will be there for the rest of the season. Michael will be the best available to Ferrari - and he might be so good that they will offer him a drive for 2010."
There are a number of special markets around regarding Schumi's return - he is 2/1 with Blue Square to not be amongst the points in Valencia and 5/2 with the same company to be on the podium. The firm also have him at 5/1 to start the first Grand Prix in 2010 for Ferrari.
