The lightly raced Roulez Cool is a worthy favourite and could easily outclass the opposition in the hands of Sam Waley-Cohen.
The seven-year-old won a Listed contest in France and make an excellent start in this country last season when scoring at Bangor-on-Dee and then going on to finish second to Russian Around in a decent handicap at Uttoxeter.
He has won both his point-to-point starts this winter in good style and his official rating of 148 puts him 12lb and upwards ahead of his rivals.
That is a huge class difference, and if Waley-Cohen can get him into a nice rhythm and juming well early on it is very hard to see him getting beat.
He is, not surprisingly, short in the betting at 3-1. But given the calibre of his rivals and the fact that he is open to bags of improvment and has one of the best amateurs on his back that could look huge come 4.10pm.
I find it hard to put up any real dangers to him, but Kilty Storm looks the best of the Irish challenge and looks a bit of each-way value at 20-1 with Blue Square.
Recommended bet: 5pts win Roulez Cool (3-1 generally available)
