We've been waiting for the African Cup of Nations to really catch fire and Egypt v Cameroon could be the game that warrants a decent bet on bookings.
Algeria's thrilling win against Ivory Coast was a sign that things are hotting up in Angola and this latest clash between two fancied sides could be extra spicy.
48 may seem a high price at which to buy but the stakes are high.
Egypt won the 2008 final between the two nations and are now favourites to lift the trophy again after Ivory Coast's exit. A win would be extremely sweet for Cameroon - who have Inter Milan star Samuel Eto'o leading the line.
"We will fight and do our best because they have humiliated us for some time now," said Eto'o.
That's the sort of talk we like to hear.
Shrewdies will be better off waiting to see how the game unfolds before deciding whether to risk a buy on the volatile spread markets.
But this may be one occasion where it's worth sticking our necks out and buying before kick-off. We need five yellows to show a profit or, of course, a precious sending off.
Cup football is no guarantee of yellow cards. Sunday's two FA Cup ties produced only two in total even though plenty of punters will have expected Stoke-Arsenal and Scunthorpe-Man City to be hotly contested affairs.
Those of you willing to keep your powder dry may hope for an Egypt win to set up a revenge mission against Algeria after their stormy World Cup qualifiers but the price in that bookings market will reflect the obvious sparky nature of that possible semi-final.
UPDATE: Bookings finished on 60 so we made a 12-point profit. It could have been a lot higher but for some lenient refereeing but hopefully some of you took a far greater profit from early in the second half onwards as the last card came 33 minutes before the end.
