Red Jester has been a model of consistency of late and gain an overdue success in the 5.00 at Uttoxeter.
The 10-year-old has been collared late on his last two starts and is the only one who comes into the contest in good form.
He jumps well, battles hard and and has also won over course and distance in the past.
The handicapper has hit him with a 2lb rise for his latest effort at Towcester, but a repeat of that should be good enough for the gelding to land the spoils in a very weak looking contest where there are question makes over all his rivals.
