Jonjo O'Neill horses running in their first handicap are always worth a second look, and Quipe Me Posted makes plenty of appeal in the 4.00 at Warwick.
The six-year-old had some decent form in bumpers last year and altough his form figures of 678 in three starts over hurdles hardly set the world alight he has shaped with far more promise than they suggest.
The gelding particularly caught the eye last time out at Huntingdon where he travelled very strongly before weakening three from home in the soft conditions to eventually finish 8th of 15 to Rollwiththepunches.
That was a strong race, and he finished only 5 1/2 lengths behind a certain Qaspal, who has subsequently turned into a classy handicapper and ran away with yesterday's valuable Imperial Cup at Sandown.
Given the fcat tha Qaspal is now rated 124 and expected to win at Cheltenham this week, Quipe Me Posted must have an oustanding chance of scoring in this contest off an opening mark of just 107.
He has also looked the sort who will appreciate the better going he encounters for the first time over hurdles today, and at 13-2 with Stan James he looks fantastic value.
