Big Sam Querry is out of the Newport Open following a straight sets defeat by Dustin Brown 6-3,6-3.
It came as no surprise to puntinplay regulars as we thought that Querry might struggle after a long spring and summer campaign without a break.
There has been absolute carnage in the draw and hardly any of the seeds are left. The event could provide a launch pad for Ryan Harrison the 18 year old American who has made it through to the last eight of the event.
At puntinplay we think the events between now and the two ATP 1000 events in August will be very volatile and will throw up some surprises. The advice is to be a layer not a player in July.
