Poker De Sivola gave Katie Walsh her first ever Cheltenham Festival winner when powering home to collar Becauseicouldntsee in the National Hunt Novices Chase.
Ferdy Murphy's seven-year-old , a 14-1 shot, looked to be struggling with a circuit to go, but Walsh kept pushing and shoving and the gelding gradually crept into the contest with just under a circuit to go.
With four fences to jump he was on the heels of the leaders, and rounding the home turn only the well backed Becauseicouldnsee (13-2) was going better.
The eventually runner-up was booted a couple of lengths clear by Nina Carberry, but Walsh was wise to the move and slipped streamed her round the final bend before pulling her mount out to draw upsides at the last.
Poker De Sivola was then asked for a big one by Walsh and he put in a great leap to land running and power past Becauseicouldntsee up the hill as the runner-up's stamina began to give way.
