Sven Goran Eriksson is the new favourite to replace Martin O’Neill in the race for the Villa Park hot-seat after a Wednesday lunchtime plunge on the Swede.
He has been backed in from 6-1 to just 2-1 with bet365, and is a top priced 3-1 with Coral.
bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth said: “The early moves were for Bob Bradley, but punters have been all over Eriksson like a rash on Wednesday lunchtime. His price plummeted from 6/1 into 2/1 in less than an hour.”
