Robin Haase is in the form of his life and has shot up the World rankings in the last few weeks. A win on the red stuff in Austria was followed by an appearance in the ATP semi-final at Winston-Salem. He lost a very tight three set match to Julien Benneteau. With sets two and three being decided by tie breaks which were won by the Frenchman. His current good form was confirmed when he blew Rui Machado off court in straight sets.
He has played, and beaten Andy Murray, in their only head to head in Amsterdam in 2008 and whilst we don’t envisage a major shock today we do believe it can go to four sets based on the current form of Haase (generally a 5/2 shot).
