As we have said in the past at puntinplay.com it is often best to wait for the last eight fixtures on the tennis before playing on the individual matches but we do fancy Carlos Moya this evening and at 2 with Skybet he looks a puntinplay.
Moya is of course a former World Numero Uno. He is now, in relative terms, playing in Blue Square North. He has only entered two competitions so far this year and lost both in the first round. However he is a big fan of Buenos Aires and won his first round match in straight sets. Tonight he faces the interestingly named Horacio Zeballos for a place in the last eight.
Horacio will have home town support but from what we have seen so far this season he will need it. Although seeded eight this is based on historical rather than contemporary performances and he spends a lot of his time looking for hotel deals for one night only. He has been a first round casualty in Auckland, Melbourne, Santiago and Brasil.
The washing line makes him favourite but Moya, if fit, will beat him. Skybet look the option.
