The Champions League last 16 clash between Chelsea and Inter Milan promises to be a tempestuous affair, with tensions resurfacing between old foes Carlo Ancelotti and Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho is serving a three-game touchline ban after making a handcuffs gesture at officials during the Nerazzuri’s match against Sampdoria last Saturday. Sky Bet make Mourinho’s odds of being sent to the stands during either clash with Chelsea a 12/1 chance.
Sky Bet’s football betting spokeswoman Helen Jacob said: “Mourinho is back to his outrageous best and the mind games are already starting between the two managers. Tempers could be running high by tomorrow night so the 12/1 for another sending off for Mourinho could be value.”
The Special One has hinted on several occasions that a return to England may be on the cards and Sky Bet make Mourinho’s odds of managing a Barclays Premier League side next season a 9/4 chance.
Chelsea are 13/8 to win the first leg and 8/15 favourites to qualify. In-form striker Didier Drogba, who scored a brace at the weekend to take his season’s tally to 25, is 8/1 for another double. The Blues are 3/1 to win the match without Drogba scoring.
