Miss Nightshade beat some useful sorts last time out and is fancied to follow up in the opener at Exeter (2.30).
The mare was sent off 28-1 for a novice event at Bangor-on-Dee but defied those odds in style to beat the well reagrded pair of Madame Mado and Megasue by 2 3/4 lengtsh and 16 3/4 lengths respectfully.
There certianly seemed to be no fluke about that win, and she was running on really strongly over the 2m 1f trip suggesting that the extra two furlongs today not be a problem.
The opposition today does not amount to much apart from Kim Bailey's Real Treasure, and Miss Nightshade looks a solid bet to go in again in a weak contest.
*Miss Nightshade is currently a top priced 7-4 with Victor Chandler and Paddy Power
