9.10, 894m - top notch bitches Midway Skipper and Taylors Riviera line up in what appears to be a match in this marathon. Henry Chalkley's Midway Skipper defeated her main rival in the TV Trophy final at Kinsley by 3/4 lengh, and I don't think there will be much between them tonight, but I will not desert Skipper who is already one of the all time great staying bitches. This is a five dog affair due to the withdrawal of Go Amber Go in trap 6. Victor Chandler are offering 13/8 about Midway Skipper, which seems real value as the punters will want to be with her.
