The times are changing. Taking a look at the league table you would be inclined to look twice. Wigan sitting two points clear is a sight that all Wigan fans at the start of the season would be dreaming of. But rightly so; they are a team in peak physical fitness and are enjoying some of their best form of recent years. Apart from a slight blip against Bradford they look like a team with one thing on their minds, winning. Pre-season favourites Leeds on the other hand are beginning to look really shaky having lost again this weekend to Hull KR and have now been pushed out to as big as 11/4 to win the regular season while Wigan have been slightly trimmed to a best priced 10/3.
These two now lock horns on Friday at the DW Stadium. This game was dubbed ‘The Big One’ last year, it shouldn’t disappoint this year round either.
