Lechlade Lass really caught the eye when third last time out and makes plenty of appeal at 11/2 in the finale at Warwick (5.20).
Adrian Chamberlain's filly was too green to do herself justice in four maiden runs but shaped with plenty of promise on her handicap debut over a mile at kempton when staying on powerfully from off the pace to be beaten 4 1/2 lengths into third by Mister Fantastic.
That effort suggested that a step up in trip would bring about even further improvement, and connections have wasted no time in upping her to 1m 4f.
To me she definitely has more to offer, and the handicapper has been kind in dropping her a pound to a mark off just 53.
She is certainly capable of scoring of that rating if building on her latest effort, and her handler has found a very weak contest for her this afternoon which gives her every chance of coming good at the sixth time of asking.
With Danny Brock taking off another 5lb she must take all the beating from a handicapping perspective, and at 11/2 looks a cracking punt.
Recommended bet: 3pts win Lechlade Lass (11/2 Boylesports - BOG, stan James)
