Coronation Street star Craig Kelly is favourite to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing this weekend. The 39-year-old had a disastrous time in last week’s show and is 11-10 on Betfair to be giving viewers his last dance on Saturday night.
Who will join him in the bottom two looks less certain. BBC presenter Chris Hollins and actress Natalie Cassidy, both 7-1 to go this weekend, look the two most likely according to the betting.
Hollyoaks stars past and present, Ali Bastian and Ricky Whittle respectively, are leading the betting in who will win the show. Whittle is currently the 11-10 favourite to lift the title but Bastian, who has shortened to 3-1 having been as high as 13-1, is gradually closing the gap. The actress gave an outstanding performance last week that received her first ‘10’ of the series, awarded by judge Bruno Tonioli.
Betfair spokesman Michael Robb said: "It looks like Craig Kelly has a real fight on his hands to stay in the show this week. He received some harsh words from the judges last time out and if he performs like that again you would be a brave man to bet against his elimination.
"At the other end of the scale it’s an interesting battle between the two Hollyoakers. Ricky Whittle has led the betting for some time but you shouldn’t be surprised if Ali Bastian closes the gap."
