Paul Jewell has been installed as 3/1 favourite with Bet365 to replace Phil Brown as Hull manager.
Spokesman Steve Freeth explained: "Adam Pearson has worked with Paul Jewell before and maybe he'll come calling again after placing Phil Brown on gardening leave."
Gary Megson is next-best at 7/2, followed by Gareth Southgate at 4s, Alan Curbishley (6s), Steve Coppell (7s) and Mark Hughes (10s).
It's very early to form an opinion but Southgate could be a good shout with Victor Chandler at 8/1 - double his price with Bet365.
Incidentally, Jewell is also a much bigger price with VC - 9/1. They have Megson as 4/1 favourite.
David O'Leary could be a live outsider at 25s with Sky Bet.
The out-of-work boss has been on the sidelines for some time but worked with Pearson at Leeds.
