Manchester United's ruthless dismissal of Milan must have the Italian football experts quaking in their boots ahead of Fulham's trip to Juventus in the Europa League.
The Rossoneri were so hopelessly outclassed (7-2 on aggregate) that the question must be posed again: Can Serie A sides handle the pace and intensity of Premier League sides?
Well, Inter will provide an answer to that poser at Stamford Bridge and, if anybody is to debunk the theory, it's going to be super-shrewd Jose Mourinho.
But Italian football will be waving the white flag in surrender if Fulham manage to pull off a shock in Turin.
An away win would be a fairytale return to Italy for manager Roy Hodgson and seems extremely unlikely.
13/2 with Coral and Betfred is probably a fair price and plenty will fancy Juve to run out convincing winners at 8/13.
But Fulham defended doggedly away to Shakhtar Donetsk and would love to still be in the tie going into next week's second leg.
If that happens, I'd fancy the Cottagers to beat Juventus at home on a famous night for the club.
It's 9/4 against the West Londoners somehow making it through.
Remember, they were desperately unlucky against Roma earlier in the competition - firstly conceding a late equaliser at home and then having Erik Nevland sent off after 49 minutes when winning in the Eternal City. Even though they were reduced to nine men, they still only lost 2-1.
And Roma are two places and eight points above Juventus in the Serie A table.
Juve's Diego said this week: "They are not Manchester United, that's clear, but English clubs are never easy to beat."
He may need reminding that, while Fulham are not United, they beat them 3-0 down by the Thames this season.
