John Isner made it through to the last eight of the Memphis Open but he was made to sweat all the way by Jarkko Nieminen of Finland. The match lasted, or blasted as Isner shot 18 aces, just shy of two hours and there were very few break points. Isner converted two from three and took the match 6-7,6-4 6-4.
