David Pipe's ante-post favourite Hunterview has missed the cut for the Paddy Power Imperial Cup at Sandown on Saturday.
The Pipe family have landed the handicap eight times and although their four-year-old was strongly backed during the week, he did not make today's final 24 declarations.
The new favourite is the Philip Hobbs-trained and JP McManus-owned Qaspal at 5-1, who comes into the race on a hat-trick following successes at Kempton and Sandown and will be in line for a £75,000 bonus from Paddy Power if he can follow up in any race at Cheltenham next week.
