Craven Park is the venue for tonight’s live Super League fixture as Hull KR take on the Wakefield Wildcats. Things aren’t looking good at the moment for Wakefield. After last week’s thrashing in their own back yard against Huddersfield, they travel to Hull who put in a tremendous effort to beat St Helens. The Wildcats started the season well, winning all three of their opening games, including a win against Leeds, but have now lost their last two matches. Last week against the Giants they never even looked like scoring as they went down 52-0 at the Hearwell Stadium when most bookmakers pencilled them in as unworthy favourites. The Rovers, although experiencing a shaky start, may be starting to show signs that led them to 4th spot in last season’s table. In their last two games (against St Helens and Castleford) they have trailed the match to within the last few minutes of play but on both occasions they have managed to grind out the win. They shouldn’t be in that same instance this time around against a Wakefield attack that will have to go back to basics after a woeful performance last weekend. Hull KR won this fixture last year with a margin of 13 points, they are 13/2 to do the same this year (Sportingbet). Everything is pointing towards a Hull KR victory and in our eyes the -6 available on the handicap is worth a small investment.
