Another great day's racing at Perth yesterday and we were delighted with Vallani's brave second in the handiap hurdle.
She is a really tough sort who always gives her all, and although she was entered to run again today in the 5.10 she will not take her chance and instead return at the next meeting to try and go one better.
However we have still got plenty of runners on day three, and kick-off with Legbeforewicket in the opener at 2.20.
We are hoping that sher will improve on her last effort at kelso, but this looks a big at at this stage of her career.
Long Distance runs in the handicap hurdle at 2.50 and is sure to come on for the run. He can be a bit stuffy at home and this race should hopefully bring him on niceley for a summer camapign.
There are now only six rivals for The Cockney Squire in the 3.25, and he should go well providing he settles. Whatever he does, he will have earned a well dersved summer break after this having been on the go all season.
Quito Du Tresor drops back to two miles after some solid runs at 2m4f, and looks our best chance of a winner in the 4.00.
