Henrik On Cue

Henrik Stenson on 2009 was climbing through the window marked “Major Winner” when things started to go a bit wrong. The tall Swede appeared to have made a substantive breakthrough as the politicians say when he bagged the fifth major at Sawgrass in 2009. At the Turnberry Open that year he was bang in contention but eventually faded to finish 13th. His Open record is pretty smart though and he finished third in 2008 and last year. However his form in the early part of 2011 was so bad that the handicapper couldn’t rate him. He looked like he was about to disappear of the golfing radar. However the US Open appears to have been a turning point and Henrik played well to finish 13th. And then followed that up with a 9th position at the BMW. He appears to be coming into form at the right time and the 90/1 with Coral on the outright market is attractive given his pedigree. but the bet is to bang into the 33/1 available that he is top European.
