Paul Hanagan has given up his 11 rides at Haydock and Ayr today after being taken ill following his four-timer at Musselburgh yesterday evening.
The mounts for his boss, Richard Fahey, will now be taken by the stable's second jockey, Tony Hamilton, who was originally due to ride at Redcar.
Hanagan's agent Richard Hale said that the season's leading rider had picked up a bug and had been sick throughout the night.
