PORT VALE haven't played since December 28, but then can return with a bang tonight at a general 5-4 as they take on Burton Albion.
The Brewers picked up a useful point against Shrewsbury at the weekend coming back from the double whammy of going a goal down and seeing Guy Branston sent off to secure a point thanks to Greg Pearson's late goal. But Paul Peschisolido's side are low on defensive resources tonight given that Branston is suspended and Michael Simpson broke a bone in his foot at the weekend.
Albion also have a poor away record, having not won the road since a 2-1 success at struggling Grimsby on October 10, and they look ready for the taking tonight.
Make no bones about it, Vale are not a decent side but they look to have enough about them to pick up a rare home success and are boosted by the inclusion of on-loan striker Craig Davies who could start alongside top scorer Marc Richards tonight. And that looks a strikeforce that will power Micky Adams' side to victory over a side not at full strength.
It's over five weeks since ROTHERHAM saw any action, but they've been handed a treat tonight when an awful Darlington side roll up at the Don Valley Stadium. The general 3-10 about a Millers win won't make you rich on its own, but it certainly should be included in any accas tonight as they aim to haul themselves back into the automatic promotion spots.
Aldershot's Recreation Ground is a very tough place to go to and leaders Rochdale are no certainly no gimmes at around the 7-5 mark to bag the three points.
Town have won their last three League games on their own surface and have only tasted defeat once on home soil this season, but face a side who have won seven times on their travels this season and are easily the best side in the division.
With two terrific records on show, this could be a case of even-stevens and at 5-2 the DRAW looks a must-bet for those of that persuasion.
