Mr Muddle takes a huge drop in class in the 3.20 at Plumpton and should be able to take advantage and get back in the winners' enclosure.
Sheena West's gelding showed plenty of promise in some good maiden hurdles before opening his account at the fifth time of asking at Folkestone.
He was then pitched into a Grade 2 contest at Kempton won by subsequent Triump Hurdle winner Zarkandar befor contesting the Fred Winter at the Cheltenham Festival.
Those race were far too big an ask and he was beaten out of sight in both. However this is far more his level and his rating of 115 sets a high standard which his rivals will struggle to get near.
