Since the start of the post season play-offs we have been big fans Blackpool. Ian Holloway has done a fantastic job, as we have said on more than one occasion and based on current form they can beat Cardiff today and make their way to the promised land of the Premier League, albeit for a temporary stay.

Blackpool came good when it was time to come good. In their last eight games they only tasted defeat once and that was away to the Champions Newcastle United. They put in some great performances that included a 5-1 drubbing of fellow play-off challengers Swansea and a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest. Their win over Forest at the City ground confirmed their status as the team to be with in the "richest game of Football in the World". Twice they overcame adversity to stay in the game and ultimately make it to Wembley by out battling and out playing the team who were favourites for promotion via play-off route.
Cardiff are in good form themselves. Having only lost one of their last eight league games. They made life difficult for themselves after winning at Leicester and needed penalties to ensure qualification. because of their perilous financial situation there is more pressure on the club to succeed today.
If you backed Blackpool before the play-offs began, sit back and relax or lay-off for a few quid, if you are playing today at puntinplay we think Blackpool will make it but it could take extra-time and even penalties.

All the pundits are expecting a tight affair, five of the last six finals have finished 1-0, but we go against this prediction. The heat and the pressure can combine to deliver over 2.5 goals in the game and at double your money (evens) this is the puntinplay.
