The gelding is bidding to become the first horse to land the biggest bonus in National Hunt racing, which is offered by the World Betting Exchange for any horse that can win the Figfhting Fifth, Christmas Hurdle and the Champion itself in the same season.
He is currently a top priced 6-1 to capture the opening day feature at the Festival for owners the Docado Syndicate, and put in a great piece of work at Meade's Tu Va stables on Monday.
Meade said: "It's a case of so far so good and he's in super form. I haven't really thought about winning a million, and I try not to think about it, but hopefully we'll land him in Cheltenham in good form and take it from there."
Meade believes that Go Native has an outstanding chance of landing the big one and will be be seen to even better effect on good ground.
When asked what he considers to be the main dangers to his stable star,he said:"Solwhit, the current favourite, was impressive last time out in the Irish Champion and seems to enjoy a battle while it will be interesting to see how Zaynar copes with the drop back in trip to two miles.
"Alan King’s Medermit, who finished second to Go Native last year at Cheltenham, did the job well at Haydock when defeating Punjabi, and Binocular must not be discounted. He obviously shows plenty at home as he is usually well-backed and was a close third last year.
