I'm like a kid at Christmas now that Cheltenham is finally upon us, and Captain Cee Bee is my banker of the day in the Arkle (2.05)
I am a huge fan of Eddie Harty's nine-year-old and believe he is by far the pick of the Iris challengers in this contest.
He is the class horse in the race having beaten Binocular in the 2008 Supreme Novices' Hurdle and seems to have transalted that ability to the larger obstacles.
The gelding is unlucky not to be beaten over fences having been cantering when falling at the last at Leopardstown when looking poised to take the scalp of Sizing Europe.
He put that mishap behind him when scoring at Naas last time out, and although some people again questioned his jumping that day I was not worried by what I saw.
Much of the value about him has now been snapped up, and fortunately I am lucky enough to be sitting on a 25-1 ante post voucher!
I still think that 3-1 is not too bad a price for the classiest horse in the race, but those who want an each-way selection could do far worse than Willie Mullins' Sports Line.
