The Fulham coach driver has been on thirteen road trips since their last Premier League success against Portsmouth on the opening day of the season. However, Fulham have drawn nearly 50% of those games and at puntinplay we are confident that they will give a good account of themselves this evening against the once mighty Juventus.
There is little doubt that the Fulham boss Roy Hodgson must be in line for some sort of award this season. His side are safe in the League and through to the last sixteen of the Europa Cup having knocked out the holders in the last round. There away form in the Europa cup has been strong and the only time they have tasted the starter from the losers menu was against Roma, and there were very controversial circumstances associated with that game due to the second half dismissals.
Juve are not the threat they once were and a form line based on the Champions League indicates that Fulham have very little to worry about. Beaten in the group stages of the Champions League, and not that impressive against Ajax they have already lost 36% of their home games in Serie A. The current home run reads played six, lost four. They could not be described as anything other than vulnerable.
As we have said Fulham will stick to the script and try to get a result to keep the tie open for the second leg. Based on the Juventus current form we think the 7 on offer with Ladbrokes is far to big, but as always we worry that it is the magic sign who are shouting that particular price.
The recommendation is the draw but we would play after the first five minutes. Zip all is the correct score fancy.
