We are talking about the knockout stages of the Champions League and yet the Portuguese side were torn apart by a team that was missing Cesc Fabregas and key defender William Gallas.
A team that had been pegged back by Championship-bound Burnley a few days earlier before winning 3-1.
I don't want to take anything away from Arsenal but when Nicklas Bendtner is scoring a hat-trick it makes you wonder just how superior the Premier League sides are in this competition.
