Some games make you sit up and take notice and re-evaluate your overall thinking.
Perhaps Arsenal's 5-0 win against Porto is one of them.
We are talking about the knockout stages of the Champions League and yet the Portuguese side were torn apart by a team that was missing Cesc Fabregas and key defender William Gallas.
A team that had been pegged back by Championship-bound Burnley a few days earlier before winning 3-1.
I don't want to take anything away from Arsenal but when Nicklas Bendtner is scoring a hat-trick it makes you wonder just how superior the Premier League sides are in this competition.
The Gunners are a beautiful team to watch, but Fabregas is the man who makes them tick. Without his promptings in midfield, they simply aren't usually as effective.
Yet Porto, aside from a brief period of pressure after half-time, were pulverised at Emirates Stadium and their poor record in England continues.
Most teams will fear drawing the Gunners in the next round and Arsene Wenger has already spoken about hoping to meet Chelsea or Manchester United if they get through to avenge heavy defeats earlier in the season.
If they do that then they will take some stopping in Europe's premier competition.
But, for now, we'll pass on Betfred's 9/1 to lift the trophy.
