Harry Findlay warned today that his Beshabar would miss the Coral Cup unless it came up testing at next week's Cheltenham Festival.
Speaking after Bergo had made it three out of three over fences with a facile success at Ffos Las, he said: "Beshabar needs really soft ground and I would not want to run him in the Coral Cup on anything less. It's highly likely that he will miss the race and be put away to go over fences next year.
"Paul (Nicholls) has done a marvellous job with him and we will be lumping on in the Sun Alliance next year!"
Beshabar is as low as 8-1 with Coral for their race, but is trading at 14s on Betfair.
