Most of the leading players take a break after Wimbledon and start preparing for the final Slam of the season in September, the US OPen.
Rafa Nadal has stated that his next objective is to complete the Slam set, which he will do with a victroy in New York. There is no doubt that Fedex and the mumbling Scotsman will provide a stearn test but Nadal at 7/2 (4.5) does look value. The former World number one can be backed with Bwin at just over 3/1 (4.1) and Murray is trading at a general 4/1 (5).
There are two issues. Firstly Ladbrokes rae offering top price which is always a concern and secondly Del Potro COULD be a runner for the event. This would be his first outing since Melbourne at the start of the year but he is defending Champion having seen off Fedex in the ifnal last year.
7/2 Nadal is value but given his slight injury scare at Wimbledon it might be best to hold off until August.
