ROCHDALE have swept all before them so far this season as they sit on top of the table and they should be backed at even money to win at Cheltenham.
Keith Hill's men have gone nine games unbeaten and are the top scorers on their travels and if it wasn't for a late goal for Aldershot in midweek that salvaged the Shots an equaliser they would be sitting eight points clear instead of six.
Cheltenham have struggled for form all season and lie just two places above the drop zone and have won just two games at Whaddon Road. They have beefed their squad by signing Matt Thornhill on loan from Nottingham Forest. It goes to show how bad they are at the moment when they were whooping with joy following a goalless draw at Grimsby and I can't see them getting anything out of a classy Dale side.
I tipped PORT VALE to beat Burton Albion in midweek and they obliged and they should be followed again at 11-10 to beat Macclesfield, who were awful in midweek against Northampton.
Vale were excellent in their 3-1 win over Paul Peschsolido's side, with Marc Richards and Sean Rigg continuing to look good together up front. There is a slight fitness worry about Rigg, but he should be okay to play, while Robert Taylor is back from suspension to boost boss Micky Adams' options.
Macclesfield may hand a debut to Craig Lindfield, but it will take more than the former Liverpool youngster to transform their fortunes.
LINCOLN CITY look a cracking bet at a general 8-5 to get the better of Bradford and end a run of five games without a win against the Bantams at Sincil Bank.
The Imps may still be languishing in the bottom three, but they are definitely a team on the up and manager Chris Sutton has made some very shrewd acquisitions from the Premier League, with the likes of Chris Herd, Adam Watts, Matthew Saunders and Nathan Baker, and they should get the better of a Bradford side who are low on confidence and whose gaffer Stuart McCall is under immense pressure to get a result.
There are rumours that McCall could get the chop if his side lose at Lincoln, such has been their bad run, but I can see Sutton's side making it three wins on the spin here.
Elsewhere, ALDERSHOT look good at 11-8 to see off Shrewsbury, while ROTHERHAM surely won't slip up again at home to Grimsby at 8-15 with Betfred.
