Alison Thorpe's horses are always worth a second look on their handicap debut, and Flexi Time looks nicely weighted in the 4.35 a Ffos Las after catching the eye on more than once occasion.
The six-year-old scored on his bumper debut at Uttoxeter and then went on to finsih runner-up on his next two outings. The final one of those was behind the highly talented Get Me Out Of Here who beat him by just two and a half lengths.
That was a fine run given what the winner has gone on to achieve, and altough Flexi Time hasn't yet got his head in front over hurdles he has run some decent races against good opposition.
He was far from disgraced when finishing in midfield behind the highly thought of Restless Harry and Wishful Thinking, and then ran far better than his finishing position suggests when coming fourth to City Theatre at this venue last time out.
The gelding looks potentially well in off a mark of 100, and it's interesting that he has attracted some serious support already today given his shrewd connections.
*Flexi Time is currently a top priced 7-1 with bet365, Victor Chanlder and Ladbrokes
