ENGLAND'S odds for World Cup glory have been cut in the wake of the draw in South Africa.
Fabio Capello's side have been trimmed from 6/1 to 11/2 joint-second favourites with Sky Bet after coming out of the hat alongside USA, Algeria and Slovenia.
Coral's make England 6/1 but William Hill have them as short as 5/1, ahead of Brazil (11/2) in the betting.
The South Americans face Portugal, Ivory Coast and North Korea in a pool inevitably already being dubbed 'the Group of Death'.
Nonetheless, ranking Capello's men shorter in the betting does seem an incredibly knee-jerk reaction.
Hosts South Africa are a whopping 150/1 with Blue Square after being handed a tough draw, including France.
