Sunderland take on Mancini City this afternoon on the back of a four nil win against Bolton earlier this week. The victory ended a run that had seen the black cats win less in fourteen Premier League games and flirting with relegation boys. Three points today would see them pulling well clear of the drop zone candidates.
Sunderland, despite their poor run have only lost twice this season at the Stadium of Light, against Chelsea and Villa respectively. Cattermole is struggling with a hamstring and his participation this afternoon could have a curial bearing on the result.
City will be without Adebayor, who is suspended, and much depends on which side turns up. If they play as they did against Chelsea in the second half then the 2.2 looks like a good piece of value. However you don't have to go back to far in the fixture list to see away defeats and poor performances against Hull and Everton that put a question mark against their road form.
This is not a game for a massive investment but if Cattermole is fit and mobile we don't think Sunderland will get beaten. The advice is a low scoring draw.
