Robin "boy wonder" Soderling didn't have to be at his best to win his second round match yesterday, which is just as well because he wasn't but he looks a good bet to progress to the semi-final this afternoon.
His opponent is Michael Llodra who is ranked roughly seventy places below the Swede but does have the benefit of playing on home soil. Llodra made it to the final last year, eventually going down to Tsonga for Europe. His ranking has slipped since then, mainly due to injury and prior to Marseille he has had a miserable season.
Soderling lost the only meeting between the players in 2008 but will win this afternoon at around the 1.25 mark. He also looks a strong puntinplay at -2.5 games with sportingbet on the handicap. He should cover that deficit.
